Fantastic, creative entries were received from schools across West and North Dorset for Local Food Links ‘Design our Christmas card’ competition. The ideas the children came up with were brilliant – from the traditional to the wild and wonderful!
Felix Morris (age 5) from St Michael’s Primary, Lyme Regis was selected as KS1 winner for his super ‘Santa eating Christmas Dinner’ design:
Jacob Evis (age 8) from Archbishop Wake Primary, Blandford Forum was selected as the KS2 winner for his ‘Berry Christmas’ design .
Both children were awarded their prizes (£20 Giftcard) and 20 of their cards by Caroline Morgan, Local Food Links CEO during school assemblies.
Caroline said “Giving Felix and Jacob their Christmas cards and prizes was the highlight of my week but choosing the winners was tremendously hard, there were so many fantastic designs”.
