LACA (Lead Association for Catering in Education) celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and its celebration includes showcasing 30 school meals heroes in the lead up to National School Meals Week, 11th – 15th November 2019. All of these unsung heroes are dedicated to giving our children a healthy, nutritious and tasty meal on a daily basis and involved in delivering a school lunch from farm to fork every single day of the school year – From the Farmer to the Delivery Driver, the Cook to the Kitchen Assistant, the School Secretary to the Lunchtime Serving Midday Assistant.
